[Travel-external] Travel approval reminder

All travel under DLA-funded programs is subject to prior approval by DLA.

If you are planning on attending the SFSA Research Review in July and haven't submitted a travel approval request yet, please do so by Wednesday May 21.

Please submit any planned DLA-funded travel to me using the attached template.  Travel in the next calendar month should be submitted, but you can also include travel that is further in the future for approval.  Please do not resubmit travel that has already been submitted.

A few notes on the file:
·  The green cells need to be filled in.
·  The white cells auto calculate.
·  The formulas are set up to automatically calculate 1st and last day meals & incidentals at 75% of the full per diem rates per government rules.
·  Any questions on the calculations should be sent to Kelly Moritz (kmoritz at sfsa.org<mailto:kmoritz at sfsa.org>) and cc'ed to me.
·  Do not include any travel that has already been submitted on a prior month's template.

Please send your travel information to me now so that I can compile the information and send it to DLA for approval.  This month's deadline for submissions is Wednesday May 21.

Note that DLA will not approve travel that has already occurred - so if you have travel before the deadline, you must request approval prior to that date.
